Our standard pads are made with three layers consisting of a topper, core, and backer. The WHOOPSIE pads have a topper made from one of the following fabrics: pique, cotton, minky, organic bamboo velour, bamboo cotton jersey, or flannel.

Pique is a 100% polyester, incredibly soft, lightweight fabric with great breathability, and moisture-wicking properties. It retains its vibrant coloring and resists staining. Think athletic wear.

Cotton is a lightweight, breathable fabric.  Cotton might be a good selection if you prefer natural fibers against the skin. 

Minky is an incredibly plush 100% polyester fabric. It has a short pile that is extraordinarily soft and will hold its color vibrancy. Because of its texture, it is great for catching heavy flows & clots and wicking fluids down to the core quickly, allowing you to feel much dryer.

Organic Bamboo Velour is a mix of 70% bamboo rayon, 25% organic cotton, and 5% polyester. It is anti-bacterial and anti-fungal and has amazing absorption properties. OBV is incredibly soft to the touch.

Bamboo cotton jersey consists of 70% bamboo rayon, 25% organic cotton and 5% spandex. It is certified organic OEKO-Tex 100 Standard. It is soft against the skin and will easily wick away moisture to keep you feeling dry. Because it is a breathable material, you will remain feeling cool while wearing it. 

Flannel is a 100% cotton, incredibly soft and snuggly fabric that can absorb and contain a lot of liquid.   

Zorb is a highly absorbent material consisting of cellulosic fibers from cotton/tencel/bamboo/other interspersed with polyester nylon. It is free from harmful, irritating substances such as PFOS, PFOA, lead, dioxins, heavy metals, BPA, and all kinds of phthalates, including DEHP, DBP, BBP, DINP, DIDP, and DnOP.  It absorbs 10 times its weight in under 2 seconds, making for a perfect pad core.

Softshell is a dual sided, 100% polyester fabric. The side that sits against your underwear is a soft fleece, which will help grip to avoid slipping while wearing. Inside is a highly water resistant layer that will keep the fluid inside the pad and off your clothing.

Our pads are intended to be worn with the printed side against your skin and the solid side facing the underwear.  All of our products are made by hand in the United States.
